I Stand in Awe!

Yes, tonight I stood and stared at this beauty.
Stood in awe.
Stood in thanks.
Stood in quiet.
Stood with a full heart.
Full of thanks for this sweet girl that the Lord has blessed us with.

Stood in awe with thanks that...
this girl wanted to snuggle with her dadda and mamma tonight.
that she told us to turn off the light, shut the door, put our pajamas on, and to pull up the covers.
Yes, she told us.
Told us in a very clear way that she communicated...and was very pleased when we understood her and followed her orders:)
Yes.

Thank you for this beauty Jesus.
Thank your for gently answering prayers (though I would sometimes like them right away).
Thank you for stillness.
Thank you that I get to forever stand in awe of YOU.

Camp Time BIG TIM

Hi My friends and Family!

It's Grace here and I just had to share some greatness with yall.
I just got back from a WHOLE WEEK away by myself...at CAMP CAMP!

I've been there before, but this is my first time to go for the whole week!
And....I LOVED IT!
My parents are still praising Jesus for the sweet and successful week it was for me (geeze, I don't know why they had semi freaked about it...I am such a people person and met so many new friends and loved my counselors as you can so see by the smiles on my face below:)...Of course my mom was SUPER pumped that they captured these pics while I was in action on my own)!

On the last day of CAMP everyone got an award and mine was "The Little Mermaid Award" since I LOVED to swim so much while I was at CAMP...so much that my counselors had a hard time getting me out, sorry about that:/ (yes, my parents are praisin God for this one...that i can so swim by myself now)!

Some of the other things that I loved about CAMP were s'mores night (shocker), karaoke night, dancing, canoeing (yes, you heard me, my 1st time at this:), and of course bed hopping to all the new friends in my cabin!

Yes, I've got joy, deep deep down in my heart.
Joy... thanks to friends. Friends that love Jesus. Friends that love Jesus and love us. Love us so well and are willing to "go there" with us, to go there to that uncomfortable place. A place that is messy and hard and awkward. A place that's hard to figure out.

That was the place that I was in today.
That place was during Grace's swimming lessons that brought me to tears...too long of a story for now.
A place that I was able to rise above tonight for a bit. Thanks to burps (from my son that is...it thrills G to pieces) , laughter, my margarita and the patio... to name a few.

These people below, the rock star Marshall fam, are those friends.
